Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro will soon be available for iPad.

Harnessing Apple's multi-touch technology, Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad will offer intuitive and easy-to-use interfaces and the ability to use the iPad's pinch-to-zoom and swipe-to-scroll features for projects. You can also use your Apple Pencil for edits and drawing in Logic Pro's waveform display.

The new crystal-clear sound browser for Logic Pro uses "dynamic filtering" to help display all of your available instruments, samples, presets and more while there's also a new sample tool, Sample Alchemy, and a time and pitch-morphing plug-in called Beat Breaker that lets you “reshape and shuffle sounds”.

Final Cut Pro introduces a new digital jog wheel and line drawing feature.

“We’re excited to introduce Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad, allowing creators to unleash their creativity in new ways and in even more places,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of worldwide product marketing. “With a powerful set of intuitive tools designed for the portability, performance, and touch-first interface of iPad, Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro deliver the ultimate mobile studio.”

Check out all the new features of both on the Apple site. Both apps will be available on the App Store as subscriptions from Tuesday 23rd May for $4.99 (monthly) and $49 (yearly). Logic Pro costs around $199.99 for a Mac. You can also get a one‑month free trial of Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro after installing them from the App Store.

In other Apple news, the tech giant aims to introduce 100 percent recycled cobalt in all of its batteries by 2025, while stating their intention to use "entirely recycled rare earth elements" in magnets for Apple devices, something which was first introduced in the Taptic Engine of iPhone 11.
