The voting for DJ Mag's Top 100 Festivals 2023 is now open. Cast your votes here.

There's nothing like experiencing electronic music in the great outdoors. Whether standalone dance music events, or as part of a bigger beast such as Coachella or Glastonbury, there’s no doubting the popularity of experiencing DJs and live electronic acts at multi-stage events in various parts of the world.

Some festivals spend hundreds of thousands of pounds on production, before they’ve even got to the international DJs line-up; others are more intimate or underground. But what is undeniable is that the modern dance music fan is spoilt for choice.

So which festivals are the best? Where should you spend your hard-earned wages? Voting has just opened for DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals. The wide-ranging, international poll aims to provide some pointers, creating a snapshot of the most popular and visible globally at any one time.

Top 100 Festivals started out with the DJ Mag team asking hundreds of DJs to list their favourite festivals in the world. The voting was anonymous, so that DJs could be completely honest in their choices. Belgium’s Tomorrowland topped this first list of 50 fests, followed by Glastonbury in the UK, Ultra Music Festival that started in Miami, Awakenings in Amsterdam, and Sónar Barcelona. Then, in 2022, the poll became a public vote for the first time. 100,000 DJ Mag readers voted, and Tomorrowland once again came out on top. Ultra, EDC Las Vegas, Creamfields North and Exit in Serbia featured in the next four places, with Coachella (USA), Untold Romania and Sunburn in India also appearing in the top 10 alongside Glastonbury and Awakenings.

But who will be the winner of the 2023 Top 100 Festivals poll? Will Tomorrowland hang onto their crown, or will they be knocked off the top spot by another amazing music event?
