Kalaloch Campground is the largest in the Olympic Park with 170 sites. It's open year round and is the only campground in the Park that takes reservations. Kalaloch means "a good place to land" in the Quinault language and was the safest place to land a canoe between the Hoh and Quinault Rivers. Kalaloch lodge is nearby and offers a camp store, restaurant, rooms and gas. Situatated on a bluff overlooking the ocean, you can walk for miles in either direction on the beach or access it from 7 different points along Highway 101. Low tide offers access to fascinating tide pools.
