Batu has revealed details of a new EP, 'half speed' via his A Long Strange Dream label.

The Bristol DJ, producer and Timedance label boss returns to his recently-launched second imprint for the ambient four-track EP, which lands on on 1st December.

Inspired by the ambience of chill-out rooms and "their ability to channel the intense emotions of rave," the release can be pre-order digitally and on vinyl here.

Posting on Instagram, Batu said: "‘half speed’ is a four track record that represents a change in pace, an extraction of rhythm, the focus turning to texture and melody (an ambient record, dare I say it)."

He added: "It’s been a surreal year, and I found a real solace in writing something deep and delicate, inspired by a trip to the Portuguese countryside." Read full post and stream the EP's lead track 'flown' below.
